2K Games has appointed a seasoned producer from the creators of Apex Legends to lead the studio crew at their internal studio, which is currently crafting the upcoming over-the-shoulder roguelike extraction-shooter known as Project Ethos.

Brinkman assumes the role of studio head at the development studio following the departure of previous head Michael Condrey, who was reportedly let go due to the game's lackluster initial reveal last fall.
Recently, 2K president a key figure notified staff about this strategic move through an internal memo, which stressed that early feedback sessions had revealed the need for a distinct direction.
The president stated that the team is now overhauling Project Ethos with a revised approach, aiming to satisfy player expectations.

This announcement echoes a similar action taken by the publisher in August, when they brought on an industry veteran from Blizzard to work on the BioShock development group.
